Crossroads' Vision For Ministry

Trusting in God’s generous mercy to us in Jesus Christ, in prayerful dependence and with thankful hearts, our ministry will focus on four areas...
  1. Reaching out in mission
  2. Connecting into membership
  3. Building into maturity
  4. Serving in ministry

Reach

Our desire is to be reaching out to our friends, family, neighbours, work mates, and others. We seek to share the saving truth about Jesus and to accompany this with practical love.

Connect

Our desire is to see people genuinely connected with Jesus Christ and those who who belong to him. We welcome people into our church community and encourage them to get fully involved.

Build

Our desire is to see the church built together into maturity. We teach, study, and apply God's Word, the Bible in our gatherings together. We meet weekly as a church and encourage our members to join small groups where they can be encouraging one another. Our commitment is to build among the youngest to the oldest, so that we grow more and more like Jesus.

Serve

Our desire is to see every member of our church using their gifts, time and resources to serve others and grow God's Kingdom.

(Many people come to Crossroads for a specified and short length of time. Our goal is to send off each person better prepared to serve Christ in the church and the world. We also plan to make a generous contribution to the growth of God’s Kingdom by training up Christian leaders and sending them into other parts of Australia and this world.)
