Wondering what box to put Crossroads in? Well, we're not that keen on boxes, but if we have to get into one, it would be "independent evangelical"! That is, we are not part of a denomination, but we are a main stream church that's on about following Jesus. We wouldn't describe ourselves as fundamentalist, but we do take the Bible seriously. God cares about people, and so do we. And we believe that we have the best news going around - that Jesus offers real hope for this life and the life to come!

We invite you to visit us in person. Please see the
Sunday Gatherings page for details of when and where we meet.
We hope the information on this site will help you to get a feel for Crossroads. For any further enquiries please contact one of our pastors or the church office.
Thanks for your visit - may God bless you.
Crossroads Christian Church began in February 1996 with a special focus toward uni students. Since then we have grown to embrace young kids through to grandparents. We are a mainstream evangelical church, which means that we think Jesus Christ is the centre of everything. We are not affiliated with any particular denomination, but we have good links with many other churches, both in Canberra and throughout Australia. Crossroads also supports ministry among university students on the various campuses in the ACT.
The people at Crossroads are a typical bunch of people who in many ways have nothing special about them. At times we rejoice and at times we hurt or are disappointed. We struggle with many of life's difficult issues, just like others around us. Yet there is one thing that sets us apart - as Christians we share the most profound experience imaginable - God has forgiven us. Everything we do as a church flows out of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. It's truly life changing and it's a message we long to share with everyone. Why not join with us?
